A group of disparate ham radio enthusiasts become close friends on the air-waves but exaggerate who they are on the assumption they'll never meet. When circumstances change, two of them have to try and live up to their larger than life personas, with disastrous results.
Making waves was written and directed by Nicolas van Pallandt and since its launch at Cannes has gathered a great deal of attention. The film was in official competition at the Skip City Film Festival in Tokyo and the Express has hailed it as 'a deft, delightful romantic Comedy.'
Released in the UK by Sony Pictures.
